NRG Energy engaged Alliance to clean multiple process tanks at a downtown San Francisco facility. Our team developed a site-specific plan and JHA, coordinated lockout/tagout with plant operations, and established a confined-space program with standby attendants, rescue readiness, and continuous multi-gas monitoring.
Inside each tank we set mechanical and air-assisted ventilation, then performed residue removal and wall/floor cleaning using approved methods. Rinse and neutralization steps were verified to meet client standards. Waste streams were profiled, labeled, and manifested for transport to approved facilities. Throughout the work, we maintained daily logs, entry permits, and photo documentation. Each tank passed final inspection and was returned to service per schedule.
Confined-space tank cleaning with ventilation, gas monitoring, and compliant waste disposal—delivered safely in an active energy facility.

Alliance sequenced entries to align with plant operations and used robust confined-space controls: LOTO, ventilation, continuous gas monitoring, and trained attendants. Residues were removed, tanks rinsed/neutralized, and all waste profiled and manifested. Documentation packets (permits, logs, manifests, photos) were delivered at closeout for each tank.
